HAPPY NEW YEAR Everyone! I'm back from hibernation... that's a 7-month rest from blogging... And since I'm now in a lull from social events, so here I am...
First off I want to thank the Lord for the past year 2012. Its been a really good year overall. There were ups and downs, but I managed thru it all because of God's grace.
So we're now in the year 2013. Several milestones will be happening this year: Gerry's 70th birthday in April and Mama Oray's 100th birthday in June.
The main event of course is Mama Oray's 100th Birthday celebration. We are now on the lookout for a venue and a caterer. The usual venue of almost all of her birthday celebrations, the Santuario de San Antonio Social Hall, is now ongoing renovation and will not be finished by June.
Also this year, we have been assigned as the Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS) #49 of our community, the Bukas Loob sa Diyos Covenant Community. Its going to be on May 18 & 19, but preparations should have started as early as last December. So that leaves us rushing in on all the preparations. Anyway, we trust the Lord Who we know will help us do everything possible to bring more souls closer to Him as we all work in His vineyard as His arms and legs.
And in relation to this LSS, we are also looking for a venue good for 450-500 persons. for the seminar room, and another room good for at least 100 persons. It also has to be a venue which allows us to bring in food and eat at the seminar room..
We trust the Lord to lead us to the proper venues, both for the LSS and for Mama Oray's birthday celebration... And we ask this in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
